Best Pickleball CoachesPrivacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what Best Pickleball Coaches collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you submit a form:
- Players: your name, email, city, skill level, and anything you type into the notes field.
- Coaches: your name, email, city, courts or locations you teach at, certifications, services offered, the credit pack you're interested in, and any notes.
Automatically: our server records the IP address and browser user agent attached to a form submission, used only to prevent spam and abuse. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source).
Why we collect it
- To email you when the directory opens in your city (players) or to set up your listing (coaches).
- To match a player with a coach who fits their level, area, and goals.
- To keep spam out of the forms and understand which parts of the site are useful.
Who we share it with
- Matched coaches or players. If you ask to be matched, we share the relevant details with the other party. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- Service providers. Google Analytics (usage measurement), our hosting provider (serving the site and storing submissions), and our email provider (sending you the messages you asked for).
- Legal requirements. If the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept while the launch list and coach roster are active, and for a reasonable period afterward so we can honor your request. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every email we send includes a way to opt out, or you can email us and ask.
- Access or deletion. Email reggie@bestpickleballcoaches.com and we'll confirm, correct, or delete what we hold about you.
- Analytics opt-out. You can block Google Analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking settings.
Cookies
We do not set our own cookies for advertising or tracking. Google Analytics may set cookies to measure usage. We don't run ad networks or third-party trackers beyond that.
Children
The directory is intended for adults arranging their own coaching. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a minor is arranging lessons, a parent or guardian should submit the form.
Security
Submissions are stored on a private server and transmitted over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people who need it to run the directory.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
